Sri Kalyana Venkateswara swamy Temple is an ancient Hindu Vaishnavite temple located at Srinivasamangapuram which is 12 km from Tirupati in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu and is referred to as Kalyana Venkateswara. The temple is categorized as an Ancient monument of National importance by the Archaeological Survey of India. It is one of the centrally protected monuments of national importance. The legend goes that the Lord, after his wedding to Goddess Padmavathi, stayed here for six months and after that went to Tirumala. Any unmarried person wishing for marriage can visit here to get their wishes fulfilled.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam TTD has set all the arrangements to celebrate three day annual festival \”Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam\” in the temple of Srinivas Mangapuram, the abode of Sri Kalyana VenkateswaraSwamy. This annual festival usally begins on Ashada Sudda Shasti Day and continued for three days in every year. To mark the auspicious day of revival of Nitya Pooja Kaikaryam, TTD has been conducting this festival as Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam on Ashada Sudda Shasti Day.

The temple was under the control of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) from 1967 to 1981. In 1981 the temple was handed over to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. At present the temple is being administered by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD).
The presiding deity of the temple is Venkateswara who is referred to as Kalyana Venkateswara. The deity will be facing west and is in standing posture with four hands with left two hands one in varada mundra and one holding Chakra and right two hands one in kati mudra and the other holding Shankha.

The temple also hosts the deities of Lakshmi Narayana swamy and Sri Ranganatha swamy. The temple is considered to be sacred next to Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala. The temple is recognised as Ancient monument of National importance by Archaeological survey of India.

How to Reach Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswami Temple Tirupati?
It\’s around 40 kilometers from tirupati inside the temple u can also see few items which were used in the kalyanam of sri venkateswara swamy and Padmavati ammavaru and also archaeological findings say the kalyana items dating back to beginning of kali yuga.

The idol of Venkateshwara Swamy is said to be much bigger than one on the Sapthagiri hills (Tirupati). We went on a weekday and the crowd was almost NIL during the afternoon time. Had a peaceful darshanam and meditated inside the main hall for nearly 20 minutes which is highly impossible at Tirupati main temple. The location is around 10 kms from the main temple.
First Time Visiting to Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswami Temple @ Srinivasamangapuram (don\’t get confused it with Alamelu Mangapuram both are different locations) which is about approx 14 Kms (20-25 Mins) from Tirupati.
