తిరుచానూరు శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి కార్తీక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో రెండవ రోజైన మంగళవారం ఉదయం ఏడు తలలు గల పెద్దశేషవాహనంపై పరమపద వైకుంఠనాథుని అలంకారంలో అమ్మవారు భక్తులకు అభయమిచ్చారు. అశ్వాలు, వృషభాలు, గజాలు ముందు కదులుతుండగా మంగళవాయిద్యాలు, భక్తుల కోలాటాలు, చెక్కభజనల నడుమ అమ్మవారు ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో భక్తులకు దివ్య దర్శనమిచ్చారు. ఉదయం 8 నుండి 10 గంటల వరకు వాహనసేవ సాగింది. అడుగడుగునా భక్తులు కొబ్బరికాయలు, కర్పూర హారతులు సమర్పించి అమ్మవారిని సేవించుకున్నారు.
శ్రీపద్మావతి అమ్మవారి కార్తీక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలలో రెండవ వాహనం పెద్దశేషుడు. లక్ష్మీ సహితుడైన శ్రీవారికి దాసుడిగా, సఖుడిగా, శయ్యగా, సింహాసనంగా, ఛత్రంగా సమయోచితంగా సేవలందిస్తాడు. అభయ వరదహస్తయైన శ్రీవారి పట్టమహిషి అలిమేలు మంగకు వాహనమై తన విశేష జ్ఞానబలాలకు తోడైన దాస్యభక్తిని తెలియజేస్తున్నాడు. సర్పరాజైన శేషుని వాహన సేవను తిలకించిన వారికి యోగశక్తి కలుగుతుంది.
రాత్రి 7 గంటల నుండి 9 గంటల వరకు అమ్మవారు హంస వాహనంపై భక్తులకు కనువిందు చేయనున్నారు.

On the second morning of the ongoing annual Karthika Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor, the sacred town witnessed a divine and unforgettable sight. Sri Padmavati Devi, the beloved consort of Lord Venkateswara, blessed thousands of devotees in the mesmerizing form of Paramapadanada while riding on the majestic Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
The mighty vehicle, representing Adisesha—the eternal serpent and supreme devotee of Lord Vishnu, is known for its spiritual importance. With its seven hoods spread beautifully, the Pedda Sesha Vahanam symbolizes protection, divinity, and the cosmic energy that surrounds Goddess Padmavati. As the vahanam moved through the four mada streets, devotees were enchanted by the divine grace and powerful presence of the Goddess.
Even as gentle showers blessed the procession, pilgrims continued to chant and offer prayers with devotion. The rain only added more beauty to the event, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The shining decorations, traditional music, and colorful umbrellas carried by temple staff made the entire morning feel heavenly.
The Karthika Brahmotsavams are one of the most auspicious festivals in Tiruchanoor, attracting devotees from all parts of the country. Each vahana seva carries deep spiritual meaning, and the Pedda Sesha Vahanam is especially celebrated for representing the Goddess’s eternal connection to Lord Vishnu.
